Re: Someone go get this...67 CST in WA

That one has been up on on CL for two weeks now, maybe some hidden issues when looking at the truck as the real good deals dont normally last for that long here in the NW. The money looks to be there in just pieces, we just parted a similar 67 CST 327/TH400 runner driver with a buddy bucket and had over $2000. back in hand during the first week of parting just the big parts (cab, seat, doors, motor & trans). Re: Someone go get this...67 CST in WA

buckets came standard in CST trucks in 67

EDIT
Just clicked on the link, and therre is NO WAY you couldn't make some coin selling that thing in these parts. A kick in the nads says you could talk him down 500, or 200 at least. If the rust is as minimal as it looks, that sucker is a gem!

Looks like I need another road trip this coming weekend But it needs work. Back driver's side bed is pushed in, gas filler doors aren't there so maybe the fuel system needs doing. Needs new paint, trim put on etc etc $1000 truck maybe

Re: Someone go get this...67 CST in WA

I just told my buddy about this. He lives about 30 minutes from Deer Park. He's single, has $$, and a big shop. I've been trying to get him into these trucks too. Unless there's some major issue, it's as good as gone.

The truck needs quite a bit of body work. The pics make it look decent but I saw more pics of it and it needs all new paint and body work to be nice. Needs a fair amount of work for that price.

MMMM that truck ! shortbed ! with a 64 327 ! MAN ! I'd buy it right now if it was close !
another thing nobody has mentioned is that this is a 1967 CST and it has the small back window ! that make's it worth that much more and make's even more worth the effort it will take to make a truck out of it , it is well worth what he is asking for it , ,,,,,

That's got the same rear bumper as mine. Wish I knew it's towing cap.

Re: Someone go get this...67 CST in WA

I live near Spokane, but for 2k,, I think it is a lil much for what it is.. it don't even have an engine in it. It's in the back and ya can't proov how good or even if it runs... I call "Basket Case" on it.. The floors look "ok" from all the pics and the front end looks accualy pretty good. Bed though,,, Ugggg. That will require alot of work.. Prolly half a bedside on the pushed in side and a guy may be able to have enouph sheet metal from the removed piece to repair the filler doors that are missing.. I don't know,, 1500 Max to me.. and that would depend on rust issues.. It is a long bed too... Sooo.. lol
I do on the other hand know where a 67-68 4x4 is. I don't know price but for whatever reason they took the stepper box off it.. I think it is even a short bed. But I see it just off the freeway every day and Paint is horrible. I been afraid to look to close at it cuz I may want it.. lol But if anyone may be interested in looking at it, I would be glad to point the direction.

Nice truck... but I agree with the above. If I'm shellin' out 2K... it better run, and run good. Not just gonna take someones word for it that the engine runs.
