Re: So What's been going on at Scotts

Thought I would start off the week right with yea anouther customer project. It is a 65 Chevelle again this customer wanted a mean prostreet look so we gave this car a complete Scotts coil over chassis with a 4" ride height and added some eyey candy to the chassis along with some trick supports since their will be a few ponies under the hood Enjoy....

Side view

Front 3/4

rear 3/4

D/S 3/4

Now onto the chassis we build to acchive that killer stance

Front suspension

Had to rework the whole entire floor pan, trans tunnel and fire wall

Drop out trans mount

Rear coil over 4-link

Showing off her new shoes

Interior floor pan

Guys I like to make mention alot of times the guys behind the scenes dont get the props they deserve, we have a dedicated bunch of guys that pride the work they do and not to mention they are a YOUNG talented bunch they oldest guy out in the shop is 31 and the youngest being justins little brother which is 19....

Re: So What's been going on at Scotts

Wow, amazing work. You know I have never really liked seeing that model mustangs at shows, because most of that crowd is all about restoring it back to it being origional, down to the correct type of screws in panels. While I appriciate the work it takes, its just not for me because it doesnt show the owners personality like a custom does. However that 65 mustang is bad ass. Makes me with i still had my old one I used to have, so I could go all out with it. Sick ride.

Re: So What's been going on at Scotts

Well it's Friday folks and the work week is coming to an end, thought I would throw up a few more pictures today. Here are two of our most known pieces of work The 2008 Roadster (dubbed Undisputed) we built that won the 2008 GNRS AMBR Award and the 2010 Roadster (dubbed Possesed) we built that took the title again in 2010

Both these cars feature complete hand built bodies by Scotts
Complete one off custom chassis and all one off hand built suspension by Scotts
and a laundry list a mile long with one off pieces

Undisputed 2008 AMBR winner Shoot at the beach

custom one off one piece boyd coddington wheels machined out of a sold block, and notice no lug nuts

On display In Pamona at the 2008 GMRS

2010 AMBR Winner Possesed

dinning storage... since possesed was a european inspired roadster, we figured a nice cruise along the country side and a stop along the side of the road would be a nice idea...

Displayed at the 2010 GNRS

I believe the material used for the wheels along with all the other one off components was 100% pure "unobtainium"

Nice work by all means. Thanks for sharing Jon.

great looking work. those welds look amazing...the only thing that bugged me was the felt marker used when the brake lines were bent...(its a pet peeve)..
