'68 GMC fender emblem
All,
I'm new here and am looking for some help in locating a pair of fender emblems. My '68 custom pickup has the original 305E V-6 with fender emblems as shown in the pics (attached). The driver side is badly faded and the passenger side is missing the "1500 v-six" insert. any idea where to find a new pair or where I can send to get cleaned up and painted? thanks in advance Matt |

Those are going to be harder to find since they are v6 not inline 6 or v8 you can try here though www.truckandcarshop.com

Re: '68 GMC fender emblem
All the GMC inserts fade. I wish someone could make just those, since many badges still have good chrome. There are some GMC badges reproduced. Not sure which inserts, but I know Sierras and Sierra Grandes in 1500.

1972hays,
Thanks for the tip but no joy. I have found endless V-8 emblems but no one seems to have a V-6. |
