new from oklahoma city
i've been snooping around here and there already doing research. i've been on the fullsizechevy forums but i just sold my 01 silverado and 2 days ago i brought home a 69 swb beauty home.
i drove to kansas and drove this baby back. it was rough and it being 107 degrees w/no a/c didn't help. but the truck and i got real close and got to know eachother. i took it by the horns and let it know i was running the show. but she was good to me and got me home safe. i'm 31, my name is daniel, i've built 2 fox body mustangs and 1 01 silverado. my dad owned a 72 lwb since before i was born until i was 20. i was gone in the navy when he sold it. it didn't bother me at the time, but the past 5 yrs i started to get the itch to build a 67-72, so i started feeling sorrow. eitherway, i'm looking forward to starting some build threads and getting alot of information off all you out there. and hopefully i can help someone else in the process. i, like everyone else love photos.......i document 1000's of photos during builds and enjoy posting them. here are a few of my last built and of the new project. see you around! Re: new from oklahoma city
thanks, i started that back in oct '10. i wasn't sure at the time if that's even the look i wanted, but i just wanted to see if i could do it. i like a good challenge.
this coming weekend (hopefully) i'm going to start stripping the 69 down to it's frame. this will be my first frame off, i'm a little nervous and a lot excited. can't wait to get started. |
