Help Identifying a Dog Dish Cap
I bought these a while back and was told they were Chevy truck. I had them measure them at the time and I was off on what I needed and they will not fit the truck wheels I have becase they are to small. They measure approx. 9 1/2" outer diameter. The outside could be paint but looks to me to be porcelin. Does anybody have any idea what these are off of??? Are they Chevy truck or Chevy car??? Thanks for any help.
If this is not in the correct area please move it to the correct one. Thanks

Eric, I really thought you might be screwing with me when I first read this but now I know you really do know everything. Thanks Thanks a lot but now I do not know if I should be happy that I found out what they are from or pissed off because I bought a set of hub caps that are for a Luv. LOL I guess with all the Chevys and parts that I have owned this is the first Luv part that I know I have had. After reading this I did a quick search on Luv hub caps and it looks like it is 1972-73. Thanks again

Re: Help Identifying a Dog Dish Cap
Mike I am not worried about it. If nothing else they will make good garage art and conversation piece.
Eric, I should have known better but the guys around here you got to watch. Better watch those voices, I would hate for them to get in the way of all your knowledge. Thanks again to both of you!!!

Re: Help Identifying a Dog Dish Cap
I am sure there are and will be Chevy LUVs restored. I wouldn't mind having one.

Re: Help Identifying a Dog Dish Cap
I just saw someone on here the other day who was looking for a set. It may have been in the 60-66 section but I can't remember. Anyway, there is some market for them if you decide to get rid of them.
