97 Suburban 2500 radiator????
Anyone have any recommendation for a replacement radiator, 97 Suburban 2500 4x4, 7.5. I live in Maine and don't do any heavy towing. I'm just looking for one that will fit right in without adapters etc.. The original is leaking. After reading some reviews about the one at some parts stores, some guys had trouble with transmission cooling lines lining up...... Thanks, Wayne:

Re: 97 Suburban 2500 radiator????
Welcome Aboard Wayne !
Two words..... Radiator Barn; http://www.radiatorbarn.com/ I've bought 6 from them so far for different vehicles, Their a direct bolt-in replacement and I haven't had any issues what's so ever. My favorite part is next day delivery to my area, The first one I bought was for my Van 9 yrs. ago and is still working fine.....

Re: 97 Suburban 2500 radiator????
Checked out The Radiator Barn but my window for time was too small I needed to get it done. Ended up getting it at Napa and it fit right in, no adapters needed. I just bought this Suburban a few weeks ago and apparently someone had choked the cooling system full of leak stop. The first to go was water pump, I think that failed because of all the crap in the system. Then once the system was flushed the radiator leak showed up. Hopefully this will be it. My only concern is there are still remnants of that leak stop (like flaky pieces) left in the system. Is there anything I can add to dissolve that stuff. What a pain it would have been nicer just buying it knowing there was a radiator leak, a lot less trouble.
