I know on motorcycles that you can buy an cable-to-electronic convertor. I think you should be able to find the same for what you need. I have done a ton of these conversions on old bike restorations in the past. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

I use the Abbott Cable X. It uses the electrical signal from the transmission and converts it to a motor speed that runs the mechanical speedometer.
Works well. You can also calibrate it to give the correct speed on the speedometer. http://www.abbott-tach.com/Welcome.html TR

Re: new problem,speedocable HELP PLZZZZ
You didn't say you wanted cheap. I wouldn't have bothered you with a response.
As far as I can tell Dakota Digital has nothing like what you need. If I understand correctly you want to convert an electronic speed sensor on the transmission to run a cable operated mechanical speedometer. If that is correct then I know of only two solutions. 1. A motor drive like the Cable-X to convert the electronic signal to motor speed to drive the cable. 2. Convert the transmission tail-shaft to a mechanical speedometer gear drive. Either solution is +$300. Check out this thread. http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversion...onversion.html If you want cheap, throw in an electronic speedometer. TR
