89 camaro saved from being scrapped
I got this at the auction...89 camaro 305 5speed t-top...130,000 miles
I gave $500 for it and won... runs and drives like new only had to put 450 miles on the old 69 rollback. the hood is worth that... I am using the 5speed in the 70 2wd blazer..and going to put something else back in the camaro after the body gets fixed.. |

Re: 89 camaro saved from being scrapped
I like it... I have TONS of parts for these. I got a 89 and 92 camaro parts car if you need anything. I am more into the 3rd gen firebirds but I ended up with some camaros along the way. I got a 89 2.8/ 5spd car thats nice. Decent paint runs good etc. I just cant get the title straight. If I dont get it straight soon, it will be a parts car too.

Re: 89 camaro saved from being scrapped
I bought a 89 Iroc, and a 92 RS ZO3 a few years back. I always like the look of the 3rd Gen Camaro's. Down side was when I rode in them, and felt like I was 2" off the ground. Then realized I practically was. Sold them, and moved on to trucks, but still love the look of them.

Re: 89 camaro saved from being scrapped
Thats too funny... sadly I have never been there. I deal with the auction yard in Rimer seeing as its 30 seconds from the house.

Re: 89 camaro saved from being scrapped
i have owned 13 of these lol, definetly needs the newer style front end on it though, never been a fan of the early z28 style noses on them. one bad 406 in there would work lol, mine ran high 9's no power adder! not fun on the street though
