Question for you bagged 73-87 guys

I have a 73+ front suspension on my 72 burb. If you are bagging the front end do you have to cut the bump stop bracket/area off the lower control arm?

I did on my 72 blazer, but before I put them back on tomorrow I wanted to check.

just depends on how low you are lookng to go but i suggest do it anyway and then later you can put in a universal bumpstop in a better location if you want
