What is this called? when can I get one?
1970 c10
This bracket is rotted and i would like to replace it. It mounts the upper A-arm to the crossmember as well as the frame. The mount is currently riveted on. Here are some pictures. I looked around on the more popular parts sights and couldn't find it. If someone knows where to find it I would greatly appreciate a link. Thanks for your time.

You aren't gonna find anyone who reproduces this part. You'll have to find one in a junkyard or someone who is selling a frame or parting out a truck.

Drill/knock the rivets off of yours. Drill/knock the rivets off of the 'good' extra. Bolt the good extra onto your crossmember.

The 63-72's will be the closest fit but 73-87's would prob work too since the entire c-member will swap over. I do know the 1/2 ton cross-members have 1/2" studs for the upper a-arms; the larger 3/4 & 1-tons utilize 9/16" studs. You want that part from a 1/2 ton. I'll make a suggestion too.... Subscribe to the board & post a WTB ad (want to buy) in the classifieds. It's $25 & there's prob a member out there who would ship you one off an extra x-member. Shipping should be minimal through the usps priority pkg system since it's small enough to fit in one of their boxes. Good luck.

Re: What is this called? when can I get one?
I recommend asking the guys who have put drop members on their trucks. Somebody probably has one in their yard/garage that they're gonna throw away.

Re: What is this called? when can I get one?
The board members here are what makes this site great! I would have offered but I need the extra 1/2 ton crossmember I have for another board member & the only other 'extra' I have is from my dually w/the larger upper a-arm studs.

Re: What is this called? when can I get one?
I got plenty more of it too!!!! Trailing arms, cross members, rear end, all going to the scrap yard if no one speaks up!!! Don't worry, I will post it all in the parts section.
