Cut sway bar for bag fitment

On my 72 blazer, the sway bar rubbed a nice spot in my bag and it blew, luckily while in my garage. I've never put one back on it out of fear of it doing it again.

On my 72 burb, there is a sway bar. It looks close and I'd like to keep it but wanted to know if anybody has cut back on their bar for this.

I am thinking it may have been Frizzle Fry that posted pics of this. Essentially the member lopped about an inch off of the end of the bar and it cleared just fine. Hmm, who was that?

Re: Cut sway bar for bag fitment

I used CPP lowered sway bar mounts and didn't cut anything..... but I might have just gotten lucky.
