Vintage picture thread
Well that "Chevy Runs Deep" Commercial got me thinking. We all prolly have an old vintage glove box pic somewhere. Below is mine. Dad's 67 in the back. (The main reason I sought to find an original Stepside SWB to begin with) Im the one in the middle. Funny I think his was rotted worse than, then mine is now. Funnt how I dont remember that about it.

Re: Vintage picture thread
Here's a "vintage" picture - it's not mine and it's not quite what you're looking for, but it's one of my favorites that I have saved.
This thread is a good idea. Lets see some more of our trucks when they were "YOUNG" !!! Last edited by Steve Hafner; 08-23-2011 at 03:21 PM. |

AND, you reminded me of a picture I have of an "old GMC" taken in 1976. My 1971 GMC Astro 95 - with a couple of Deere's instead of GM's !!! NOW - who's going to be the first to ask: " How did you ever get out of that parking space " ? |

Re: Vintage picture thread
For anyone interested in old pics, check out the HAMB. There is a thread called "vintage shots from days gone by" with nearly 1500 pages of really cool old pics.

Re: Vintage picture thread
Right after this pic was taken the duke boys came flying through and jumped the mound of dirt then rosco flipped his car. I know its off topic but thats the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this pic. I have no life.

This is a great thread. I have enjoyed reading all of the responses and checking out the photos. I can almost imagine what it was like to be there at that time!

The Camaro was pushed into another vehicle by the truck although they hit at odd angles. Top of Camaro is buckled because the front windshield is completely shattered. It's the guy's fault in the background with the Corvette. You can read his lips: "Oh fu....." It happened on a hwy. |

Re: Vintage picture thread
Man they love Torinos in this neighborhood. There are 3 of them right in the front. A 68-69 on the left a white 70-71 with the laser side stripe and a yellow 70-71 fastback.
