anyone use this rear seat?
Anyone use this style? The seller says its from a yukon/suburban. I has a base that looks much easier to bolt down.

Re: anyone use this rear seat?
Wow that looks huge for a rear seat. The combination of the raised back floor in a 69-72 blazer and those tall seat mounts you couldn't be more than 4 feet tall and sit back there

Re: anyone use this rear seat?
I am personally not a big fan of late model high back seats in these blazers. They kinda look outta place. There is a 2wd in town here and it just doesn't look right.

Re: anyone use this rear seat?
That seat would be way too high/tall for the back of a blazer. I bet those headrest would touch the hard top.
Different bases/lower and no headrest and it could work.

Re: anyone use this rear seat?
I think those seats in post 1 would be too tall for the rear of a Blazer.
I used 2008 2nd row Escalade seats for the front and the 3rd row Escalade removable seats for the rear. They're not original looking, but I think they fit well in the Blazer. Plus my kids can buckle up with lap and shoulder belts. Last edited by 29od1; 08-22-2011 at 01:15 PM. |

Re: anyone use this rear seat?
29od1, that's an interesting step you put behind the door, but wouldn't it be easier to step on the tire since it's higher and closer to the bed rail?

As far as the original question, I think you'd find that the seats are too tall even with the top off (unless you're going for that bugs-in-the-teeth look). |

Re: anyone use this rear seat?
The PO put the steps on it. It is easier just stepping on the tire.
