1979 tach cluster

Nice tach cluster removed from 1979 K10 that had a 4-speed on the floor (no shift indicator). No broken tabs, wiring cut but plenty long to splice into. Un-tested, but it looks very clean and in operable condition. Pics to follow later tonight. $120 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Re: 1979 tach cluster

54 caddy, I can try to test it this weekend.

FYI to all. I bead blasted the black gauge ring, it had a little rust on the face...new paint on it and it looks good as new. I will also be touching up the needles, they are faded a little.

Re: 1979 tach cluster

Jeff,
I know I hijacked your threadm but I have done a few of these and Its really no that hard.... Hardest parts are taking hte needle off (work slowly and pry to the closest part of the mounting shaft) and IIRC couple small screws to remove the face... OR I would just swap your speedometer over to the tach cluster by removing the 1) clear plastic, 2) block gauge surround that jeff painted, and 3) then the 3 (7mm or 1/4 inch) flanged self tapping screws that hold the speedo into the housing.... Ill go back to surfing now ...
