Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
I like the 72 stepside better, but I am more of a 67-72 guy.
What a really nice truck is worth is a tough number to pin down. How much are they asking? My guess is that it is worth $10,000 to $15,000.

Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
I would think $15K would not be too far out of line for it. It's like the old saying, it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

So, you own it and want to sell it? or you want to buy it?

Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
In better times, I'd say it would be easy getting 10k +. Today, I think it would be hard to get 8-10k.

Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
It's worth what you are willing to pay. I liked it until I got to the point where he says the front is a 10 bolt. I also don't like the cam, but that's my opinion. It's a good looking truck and makes for a nice mall crawler, but I sure wouldn't pay anywhere near 10K for it.

If you're looking for a '67 - '72, wait for one. Don't get sidetracked by something you weren't in the market for and will probably regret later...

Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
Around these parts its not unlikely to see that go for right around 10grand. I hope you get more but since I built my first truck, it seems these square bodys are the most "haggled-over" trucks to exist! Everyone thinks they can get them for dirt. Good luck and don't sacrafice this mean machine!

Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
10 bolt in the front, subtract $5k. Guy didn't know what he was building. LOL. It'll make a nice mall queen!

Re: Users Opinions of a Truck I may Purchase
Around here that's a $15K truck, at least asking price. Definitely $12k all day.
