Re: support for longbeds

Here is a picture of my lwb stepper farm truck I had until recently when I gave it to one of my grandsons.

I gave it to him because he is helping me build a '67 swb stepper.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thanks,
I think so to!
just ordered the new tunes for it.

I also painted the caliper's this past week.

I was thinking about doing the rear drums with the red paint but I think I'll leave them be for now.

First trip out, lots of work has been done since.

I got two quads I haul in it, the longbed makes it possible.

Here's mine! I like trucks because they are trucks - made for hauling. They can look good and go fast, but they need to be able to haul. The more room for hauling, the better...

Re: support for longbeds

It was started awhile back, but its still an active thread. Last post was only on the 26th. Personally I like having one post that shows all the long beds (or whatever the truck) so I dont have to shuffle through 3 or 4 posts to see all the pics.

I take it these guys bustin' your chops are car-convert wussies who seem to have the need to displace their feelings of inadequacy through the criticism of the length of your truck . A real truck guy likes any nice truck, not just one like theirs or what they see in magazines

Re: support for longbeds

I can see a shortbed as a replacement for a car or for a weekend cruise, but I need a truck. 4X8 sheet goods in the bed with the gate closed, or hauling a pallet of whatever.

I have owned both, but always come back to the longbed. Maybe someday I'll have both. For now, it's about hauling stuff.

I also owned an S-15. Not only was it 6" too short, it was also narrow. Eeeew.
