I thought this would make a good thread. Please post pics of the different USA-1 and other dealer plates and the years that they are correct for.

I can tell you the slogans. I have the correct one for my 71'.

1972: Didn't have a USA-1 plate. It was different. I have one of these as well, but don't have a pic right now.

Those 1/2 ton locking hub dials look like they are taking up alot of room in that drawer. You should probably send them to me

In the upper left you can see the '71 USA-1 plate that came on a '71 I had. Near the center is another one I got around 1990. There's also a red GMC Truck one cut up and used to fill in some spots:

Thanks. For some reason something changed and it won't allow me do that. I tried everything and I think some of those links had the [IMG] at both ends and still only came up as links.

Nope, every year from 68 to 72 are different. Different slogans and 1972 doesn't have a USA-1 tag. 67-68 are the same though. Trevor

I think the USA-1 plates are cool. I would run one on my truck except up here you would probably get a ticket for not running the correct front plate.

LOL...My '71 was from a one tag state and I ran it with just the rear for a while,but ended up taking it off. It also looked about how it does now...patina'd

I know this doesn't help answer the original question that this thread asked, but I thought it was a neat plate that is GM related.
A friend of mine bought this plate for me at a rummage sale for 10 cents.
