The 88 Crew Cab build

I just started this. Let me know what you think. There is a bunch of work that still needs to be done but it's getting there.

Re: The 88 Crew Cab build

Are you running a D44 in the front? If so this is exactly what I am doing with my crew cab. I am doing all the body work now so it has taken me a while. I like the truck though it looks cool!

Yes Sir, it is a 44. It's a 3/4 ton model but the hub were gone when I got it, so I had to settle for 6 lug so I could drive it. I am currently looking for 8 lug hubs to carrie 1 spare !

Thank You !! I can't tell you how many times I have been HOOTED at, or been yelled at an an intersection !! These Crew Cabs are head turners for sure !! Your truck looks tough as well !! I like the wheels you have... how deep they are ! I am thinking of getting mine like that for the front. I was going for the Dodge 1 ton sled pullers when they take of the Dually adapters from the front and run a standard wheel, I think those look tough !!

Re: The 88 Crew Cab build

I would say that's a good score. The turbo and manifolds are worth what you gave IMO. I still chuckle that you had all those parts in the trunk of that little car. . It won't be a speed demon, but should have enogh power to keep you happy for a while. The increase in mileage will make it all worthwhile buddy. Keep that in mind.

The trans would've gone quicker had they not put the wrong package of springs and plugs in the box.
