weird things with my truck..

The truck this tread is about is a 2006 chevrolet silverado 1500 LT, 4WD and 5.3, and blue.

So the big one that has been bothering me for a while is that when im turning into say a parking space, or driveway, usually when im going slow and hardly touching the breaks it feels like the ABS is engaging. The pedal vibrates and makes a lot of noise, i was wondering if this is a normal thing or if i have it looked into. My brother has a 99 half-ton and its never done that? The next thing is that the other day my girlfriend went to put stuff away in the back seat and as she went to pull the door handle and it just snapped off at the hinge side. It really blows, but i was wondering if it was something that i should have to worry bout with the other doors. Thanks in advanced

you might what to check the abs sensor that could be the cause of this but idk just a guess never had it happen to me...

The ABS problem is pretty common. Pull the ABS sensors out of the front wheel hubs and cleaning everything real well.

Thanks man, i finally got it on the lift like 45 mins ago after finishing hooking up the tranny on my brothers 78 and ran out of motivation, so for now the fuse is pulled and the only issue is listening to the dinging every time i start my truck.
