Nice 67 SWB on C/L (not mine)

Looks to be a nice project for someone. Unlike most trucks I have seen lately, this one is priced to sell: http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/2600345432.html

Looks like a bad deal to me Hey zepp, let us know what it looks like up close. Try to take some pics, whether u buy it or not. I texted the guy today for more pics and he said he would tonight. Its a pretty long trip for me, so it'll cost quite a bit to get it back here. He also said its a 12 bolt rear but not posi, which is what I was hoping for.

I was unable to get pics, but it is a solid truck. If I did not have a project truck already, I would buy this one in a heartbeat. Normally I find it is more cost effective to buy a LWB truck and convert it...in this case you already have a complete SWB truck at a good price to begin with, AND it is a 67 to boot. Drop in an engine, and you have a presentable truck to drive while you restore it. The owner really has priced this to sell IMO, and I am sure it will be sold soon. Hopefully a boardmember gets it.

Re: Nice 67 SWB on C/L (not mine)

That's a heck of a deal if it's as solid as it looks in the pics. Why can't I find something like that close to me. Every ad I come across is from some guy who thinks it's worth a mint cause he saw one "just like it" on B-J. Ugh.

Re: Nice 67 SWB on C/L (not mine)

So its all there? I went to look at a 67 LWB the other day and asked the guy on the phone if anything other than the motor and trans was gone. "Nope, it hasnt been parted out", he said, So I get there and the tailgate is gone, headlight bezels are gone, radiator and core support is gone, wiper motor is gone, bumpers are gone, mirrors are gone. Theres a difference between project truck, and parts truck. This one does look good though and u seem pretty impressed with it. Id like to have it but I'll have to spend another 4 bills to get it home.

Re: Nice 67 SWB on C/L (not mine)

This a project truck, not a parts truck IMO. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a SWB.
