Brake Pedal
My brothers 01 suburban.
Replaced calipers pads rotors and all flex brake lines. Bled and bled And it still has a crap pedal. Is the master cylinder the culprit? thought's , opinions?

i would replace it anyway with it being 10yrs old ,do you see any leaks around the back of the m/c by the booster ? does it have rear drums or disc ? may have to adjust the shoes if it had drums .

ABS... Probably need to have a shop that has special equipment bleed them. They can activate the ABS and do a better job.
I had hell on my Tahoe and in retrospect, that's what I should have done. For starters, I had two new defective master cylinders. Then it took a lot of pumping by my wife who was tired of assisting but I finally got them working okay. Should have just taken it in. I'm stubborn that way, though. |

Unbolt the mc and slide id forward like an inch and see if the back is wet, but it cab be dry and still be bad if its an internal leak
