Power steering issues
Guys,
My truck had factory A/C that has been removed awhile back. I replaced the pulleys with billet aluminum and it really looks like I am missing another bracket for the PS unit can anybdoy confirm this? The reason I say this is the belt keeps slipping and everytime I tighten it the PS unit looks like it is at an angle even thou the belt is straight? If you guys know what bracket I am missing and have one I would like to buy it. I plan on installing a Vintage air unit down the road. Thanks Matt

Re: Power steering issues
Yep, you're missing a bracket. Should look like this;
That bracket connects the back of the pump to the closest header flange bolt and head

Re: Power steering issues
Ya, need to get that bracket ASAP. Otherwise, the PS pump will flop around, possibly breaking it and / or the bracket it is on. I found mine in a salvage yard. Was easy to find. Good luck.
One I have is different. It mounts to one of the exhaust bolt holes.
