Truck Parts in NC...

I'm trying to finish up my project and just need a few things to button up. However, the damn shipping on some of my final parts are more expensive than the part itself... I remember a local parts dealer (like an LMC or Brothers) in the Western part of NC but I cannot for the life of me remember the name. I think it was something like Troy's truck parts but all my searching is pulling up nothing...

I figure if I can drive out to the place I can save the money on shipping...

Thanks,

Re: Truck Parts in NC...

Was it The Truck Shop out of Crossville, TN? Not western NC, but close enough to help save on shipping maybe?

Re: Truck Parts in NC...

I ran into Daves truck parts at the shades of the past.
I think they are located in Claremont‎ NC.
828-695-8144
Haven't ordered, don't know anything about em just that they had quite a few parts on hand at shades.

Hope this helps,
Jeremy

Tommy & his wife are both personal friends of mine. I have done business with them a bunch. You can't ask for nicer people. Their son has his own custom truck business now also. They are a great bunch. You want be sorry with dealing with them.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

You are not kidding... Just because of how sweet Gayle was I want to do business with them. Plus they have everything right there in stock. They also do shows so check their site to see if they will be in your location.

Wink Re: Truck Parts in NC...

The last time I made the show at Myrtle Beach SC a few years ago I had ordered my stuff from Tommy and just picked it up there. I went early so I could get it and not have to fight the crowds. I ended up helping them all day, setting up and selling some for him that day. I had a great time, then the next day I showed the truck. It was the first year they had the show in the back lot at Wachama! Wasn't very good show everyone was complaining about the gravel. The new parking lot wasn't finished.

Re: Truck Parts in NC...

I live in Southeast Missouri and am at a point I need to buy some more big parts and have found that the shipping is as much as the parts.

The local guy I use to buy from has gone out of business, so I am looking for a souce of parts also.

Good luck.

Re: Truck Parts in NC...

There is a guy in Kings Mountain that sells 1955-1972 car and truck parts. The place is called Classic Chevys and his name is Ronnie. His number is 704-734-1955. He matched any price for me even when Brother's had their clearance sales. I don't deal with anyone else.

Cool Re: Truck Parts in NC...

I have dealt with a lot of the vendors on here and not. I have the mind set that any of them will help you out pretty good no matter who they are. I do a lot of dealling with local people for the simple fact of shipping. I will go pickup most my stuff if I can find it local.
My M&D live in Conover which is a 5 minute ride to Clearmont I may have to check Dave out next week when I go up.
