Full Vinyl Mat

I just picked up a 72 C30 and it had a Tan (ish) full vinyl mat that looked (or was) stock and fairly thick. I'd like to put another back in it but all I can find are thin black ones. Does anyone make these that are a good fit and quality and in colors?

Re: Full Vinyl Mat

I've never seen any but black but you might consider using vinyl spray on a new one.

I'm thinking of trying it for my wrecker resto, it's the odd maroon (red) color.

Re: Full Vinyl Mat

Like Bob said. I have had no luck finding anything resembling an original mat in anything other than black in the current aftermarket.

Re: Full Vinyl Mat

Thanks guys. That's pretty much what I thought I'd hear, but not what I wanted to hear.

Bob I may try vinyl spray on one and see what happens as well. I'm sure I'll have to coat it white or something first and then a tanish color so the black doesn't show through. The black ones seem to be much thinner than the one that was in this truck though.

I did find this site last night. Not sure what they look like.

Might give these guys a look, haven't used them myself but I'm looking into it.
