Whats up guys...

(1980 step side)
When I run my AC on max is smells like I've stuck my head under my hood..
but if a run my AC on normal, I don't get that much of a smell...

If it's running on max it's pulling the air from inside the cab right? So this means I might have a problem in my firewall? a hole?

Is there a cab filter? Should i just buy a gas mask??

any ideas?

I would check for any coolant leaks, especially at the heater core inside on the passenger side floor (wet carpet?) Also check for burnt coolant smell under the hood.

Sounds like you got a coolant leak to me. I would check your heater core to make sure it's still good. Or do you have an exhust leak and it's coming right into the cab be something else to check out.

Thanks for the input guys, I'll check out any possible coolant leaks. i've check out the exhust pretty thoroughly, but you never know.

remember that it sucks air from the cab when on max so check the intake for the air
