My 87 full size Custom Deluxe
Traded my 1980 Firebird Formula that had No motor or trans and rotted out for a 1987 custom deluxe 4.3L V6 OHV 12V.
My plans are 350 swap Restore the body of course not much to do to that a little rust and a few little dings. bed has a 1 foot by 1 foot rust hole and is banged up from being used as a work truck. Hopefully I can find one at a junk yard. I cant decide lower the front a little or leave it stock? Here are the pictures the seller sent me and one of the firebird. |

Re: My 87 full size Custom Deluxe
The truck came with 3 extra doors, 2 extra hoods and a whole extra front clip.
Here are some pictures I took now that I got It. Working on the V6 trying to get it to run so I can sell the motor. Where does the coil mount I cant find a bracket to hold it in or a mounting point seems to be missing maybe? Last edited by chevy_skills; 09-25-2011 at 04:25 PM. Reason: forgot the pics |

I got the motor to fire up. it Runs sorta... Pours coolant out the drivers side exhaust manifold! I think its more likely a cracked head.
