what do you guys know about p20 and p30 step vans???

Im looking for a 8-lug disc brake solid front axle. I was told to start with the p20 3/4-ton van since i want single wheels and not dual wheels. was there ever such a year box van with a solid front axle with disc brakes? hopefully 16 inch wheels came on them also. I have seen pics of some of the old vans with the right single wheels and solid front axle, just cant verify if they have discs or not.

Years ago I had a 1979 (?) P30 and it was solid I beam front axle . They came with 16 or 19.5 inch wheels . Mine was 19.5 and I believe it was disk , but it's been 15 years .. lol . you can start with the link below .

Are you looking for a 4wd type axle, like a Dana 60 1 ton? If so you need a truck axle, like a K30. If you want an I beam type axle than a box van would do.

Thanks for the link, learned alot, or assumed alot actually lol, from it. Thats exactly what I was looking for actually.

Not looking for the 4wd live axle, really want the i-beam front, I dont need 4wd. Hell i dont need a 5000lb capacity front dead axle, but will look the best to me.
