pics of local truck
saw this today while cruzin sown the road. you should have seen me tryin to take these pics while drivin, i was worse than a soccer mom on a cell phone. they aren't the best pics but it was a really nice step side with ghost flames.
i was even worse takin this one, i was shiftin the rachet shifter with my right hand, and steering and taking the pic with my left hand. it sure does sound good though, at 5500 rpm. i was still in first gear at 65 mph and 5500 rpm just about to shift :

Always good to have a camera handy. I bought one the other day to take a pic of a '55 Chevy with side stacks! I remember we had a discussion about that along time ago. Maybe it was on the other site?
That truck does look sweet though, love the stepsides.

What rear end gears do you have? The picture shows 65 MPH, 5500RPM in REVERSE! Can you back up a trailer that fast?

im with you guys, 5" tachs look like crap when mounted on the dash. however, i just installed one in my '86 and ran the wires down through a hole where the center speaker holes were broken out. gotta have something to cover that hole...

Good looking truck! I like the flames. I know how hard it is to take pictures while driving. I always keep my camera handy and have taken a couple. No wrecks yet!

I have been seeing alot of 73-87's in my neighborhood. I missed out on alot of great pictures, because I didnt have my camera. But there are a few that live in the neighborhood that I never seen before. They are garaged. One is real sweet. Next time I see it outside Im gonna stop and talk with him. I hope he speaks english
