Rebuild of my mini buggy
Day 1: Well as of now it has fresh green paint. the little 8 horse is going and its getting a chevette motor this weekend. tomorrow im getting some deck material so stay tuned
Day 2: Got the deck stripped down and got the materials have to set the water seal on and let it dry over night. heres a picture of how rotted it got Day 3: Its naked now Today : Got the 2 coats of water sealer done, now i got to do 2 more of primer. getting the motor thursday so hopefully all goes well Moved it under the carport, too hot to work

got the motor mounted finally, yay
The axle got moved back alittle still have to get the drive shaft cut and rewelded. got to weld some gussets to the spring hanger in the rear. going to the junkyard on monday to get the rest of the motor parts i need and hopefully she'll be runnin this week i cant wait

Heres what the buggy looks like with the axle moved back
The shifter imma use Rear spring mount Some gauges i got today at the junk yard Its called a "Swamp Buggy" and the purpose for us floridians is so we can ride trails and go through mud and hunt and just have a good time on it Quote:

Got a new starter and all the wires hooked up
Alternator hooked up along with the hydro pump Gas tank Battery hooked up Ignition and gauges hooked up Got to get another elbow for the exhaust Got to get the driveshaft cut It should be running this weekend, got to pull the carb off of bigfoot and throw it on to get it running then have to get the deck mounted and etc...

Got it runnin tonight runs and sounds amazing, got everything hooked up now i need an air cleaner and to throw the deck on. i can't thank my dad enough for helping hes the best
Homemade shift lever my dad came up works pretty great Radiator mocked up got to get some hoses Gas pedal hooked up

Getting the deck fitted right now but the rain is trying to stop us.
Left to do: * Get radiator hoses and get them ran * Air cleaner * Mount deck * Mount seats * Mount and wire up the front lights * Tear up the nearest mud hole

Woohooo got some hose today for free now i can run the radiator. all that needs to be done is get the radiator situated weld the front two link bars mount the deck and seats and im done. should be running later today i will get a video
Lights mounted and wired The box that houses the air cleaner and the seat will sit on it

Now that it runs, looks like imma have to tear it back down unless it quits smokin cause it looks like the rings are bad =/ figures
But my solution is Got some goodies and now im broke, since the engine sat im hoping it only has a stuck valve so that can of restore will free any that are stuck.
