quick spec question
How wide is the front of a Blazer? At the tires? I want to go get one today, but I'm not certain my trailer is wide enough. It's supposed to be a 16x7 however it measures 6'4" between the rails. It's a landscape trailer with permanent rails so it has to tucked inside that. Last night I was going to take it to Rhode Island to buy a Blazer, but it occurred to me (thank the Lord!!) to ask him how wide his was. With 33/12.50/16.5s and 3/4 ton axles, it measured 6'9" wide, so I didn't bring the trailer. Good thing, because it was a rotted out sh*tbox.
Anyway, next k5 on the list is a bone-stock 88, tires look stock on factory alloys, not sure if they would be 31/10.50/15 or metric sized, but should definitely be a good bit narrower. I just don't want to drive 50 miles each way to find it will not go on the trailer. I towed a 93 Chevy full size half ton on this trailer without a problem. Unfortunately I don't have anything nearby I can measure, and I'm trying to get hold of this guy to see if he can measure his for me. but I want to get on the road quick if I'm going to do this today. And happened to think of this forum, though somebody might know or could check. Thanks!

Re: quick spec question
My '90 is 6'8" on 33x12.50's...stock axles & 15" truck rallye wheels. Should be really close with stock width tires. Sorry that I don't have a definitive answer.
