80's dash pad on a 70's dash board?
Difficult? I've got an 85 dash pad going into an '80 truck with a 77 cluster. What's the best approach? I'm having trouble coming up with solutions to keeping the left side down, since the far-left clip is lined up with the vin plate (and thus, was removed). Thanks!

The gauge trim or whatever you want to call it should hold it in place once you get it all together. That should also be from an 81-87 truck or it wont fit right. maybe some double sided tape or velcro to make up for the missing clip ?

Hmm. I've already got the wiring for the wipers in the gauge cluster bezel... Um... uh oh. I'm thinking that when I fiberglassed it, it may have been tweaked a little in that corner. It's pretty solid now. Smooth and clean, but solid and tweaked.
Awesome. Maybe I can cut some slits in the back of the pad panel to mount another clip...
