So i finally got the wrecker up on the lift, and i need some frame pieces. Some moron welded a piece of channel to the old rusted center piece, and i didn't know the crossmember was that bad untill i got it up on the lift.

the crossmember that is just before the rear wheels.
The Crossmember for the center bearing
Rear spring shackles.

If anyone has some thing, please let me know.

Man, wish I could find the cross member for the bearing... Someone did the same thing to mine. But every C30 I've seen up here is just as bad...

Have you looked at the newer style spring shackles? They might work if you have to..

Ya I did look at them they are longer. Im going to get some parts from a member off a 3/4. I'm hoping they will be the same. I don't haul over the road on the sling, just be a trailer if anything. So I'm not going to overload the mounts.

I have a line on a '70 C30 rolling chassis here in Texas. I am only interested in the cab. I am waiting for the seller to get back in town so that he can send me more photos before I drive out to look at it. I could get it as far as Virginia for some extra $$$

Oregon. Tll74 had a c30 with almost rust free parts, got all the crossmembers I needed.
