WTB: Cowl Induction Hood 67-72
I'm looking for a good, decent shape, cowl hood for my 69 C|10. I assume a 67-72 will work. Thanks

Re: WTB: Cowl Induction Hood 67-72
What up Pete? Those rallys are looking great man!
You'll want 69-72 style. 67-68 is different. I have a friend who owns Chevy World in Bryant AL. you might give him a call. His name is Lynn. Tell him Chad Coley sent you. Or, you might contact Tim Christian here on the board, he can probably get one for you or tell you which brand to look for. Some fit better than others .. Later.

Re: WTB: Cowl Induction Hood 67-72
Well as bad as I hate to say it. You can add another set. I bought a LT1 engine and can't even use them. Or the compressor. Oh well after you get rid of the 200 you have. I. Got a set to sell to. Lol. Live and learn.

Re: WTB: Cowl Induction Hood 67-72
Man. I can't believe that. I was right there at em. Never even crossed my mind. Well I have to ask. How much for one that's I good shape. No rust or needs much work to it. Maybe some sanding. And a small ding or to ? I still can't believe that.

Re: WTB: Cowl Induction Hood 67-72
nah, you could've taken it this year. My dad took his, and he hadnt even started on it yet. haha.
I said I wasn't coming back, because I hate to see beautiful original and restored classics leaving empty handed and bone stock daily driver '05 Corvettes and Mitsubishi Eclipses walking away with trophies. They need to have real judges instead of sponsor picks (too much politics and 'who ya know' going on.) But, I just bought my son a 2wd Blazer (long term project... he's only 6), so I may trailer it up there next year so my dad can have a "3 generations at the car show moment." Do you know anybody up that way who is parting out a '68? Im looking for a front clip.

Re: WTB: Cowl Induction Hood 67-72
That's Beckley for ya. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. I looked at a couple trucks over the weekend. Had them in the trader. As a 70 and 71 chevys. I looked at they were both GMC's. They was selling the whole trucks no part out. The 71 looked the best and it had been wrecked. Stepside bed and a fender was about all that could've been salvaged. Not much of anything on the other. $1000 for either one. I'm looking for a cab. Think it would be cheaper and much easier on me to swap them out. Your dads is the only burb I've seen around here. There few ad far between. Unless your out west or don't care to pay a crazy shipping price and take a chance on a picture. I've learned my lesson on that route. The forum is about the safest place to buy. I've got stuck to many times on ebay. I'll keep my eyes and ears open. Have a good one.
