First truck, first restoration, hello all!
So I'm kind of excited, just bought a nice enough 1969 Chevy C10 fleetside (longbed). I payed 2000 for it, but what I DO know about vehicles (which is novice compared to the people here, but more than your average joe) it seems that the engine really hums, doesn't seem to need any work in that department...think that was an alright deal? It needs some body work (famous last words right?) but the interior is really nice for some reason - I guess that's where this guy started with his restoration.
So basically I just wanted to say hello (you guys where the first hit on google), and I'm probably going to be bugging the forum here for help as I get my hands dirty with this. Not hoping for show quality, just something that'll last me for a lot of years, I can take fishing and camping, and maybe might make someone go "nice truck!" once in a while. I will post pictures when I pick it up on saturday. |
