PRICE DROP!!! Restored Tach Dash

I have a tach dash that's been tested and I've restored with a new lense, new (reproduction) tach, new printed circuit, new bulbs, cleaned bulb holders, perfect tins, and very nice original gauges.

The company I got the repro tach from says you can use it with HEI but others do not recommend using aftermarket tachs with HEI and several members have had issues...others have used for thousands of miles with no issues.

This is a show quality cluster and comparable to the $650 ones the parts places sell.

Price reduced to $400 shipped total FIRM. There are well over $300 worth of new parts on this cluster.

Or 450 shipped if I put a very nice factory tach in place of the aftermarket tach

I also have a factory and an aftermarket wiring harness available. 35 for either shipped with the tach setup. 40 shipped for a setup to use for HEI

Please post in thread. First "I'll take it"

Check, money order, or paypal (I pay the fees)

Thanks

Re: Restored Tach Dash

I got these bezels and printed circuits from Classic industries. They run sales from time to time which helps. Many of or board vendors do sell these also.

Regarding the payment options:

I avoid using non-secure forms of payment such as checks on higher dollar purchases such as this. Even more so when the item is to be shipped and is what I would consider very fragile.
I make payments via Paypal, which I assumed would be preferred. But as far as the associated fees that Paypal collects on such transactions are concerned, that would be your responsibility.

Since you are requiring me to pay the Paypal fee's on top of the agreed cost, I will have to pass.

Thanks for the opportunity.

Re: Restored Tach Dash

No problem. The fees just really burn me....especially since they started taking them out of even personal payments made/gifts to me...so I refuse to pay them. They come out of the small profit I make in restoring these after you count my initial purchase of the dash and parts. I always take out insurance for at least what the item sells for and in this case I'll be putting 450 insurance on it since it's worth that much to me to re-do if damaged/lost.

I would just add 4% to your price and not mention the fees.
Make your "local pickup" price cheaper.

Shipping costs are getting outrageous.
Unless you box, ship, and insure, on a regular basis,... you won't understand what a hassle this is becoming.
People that do this all the time, successfully,... must have alot of patience!

TOTALLY AGREE with statement "shipping costs are getting outrageous" I do not think "patience" cuts it... medication is more like it!!!! I just hope everyone appreciates the time and effort I (WE ALL) put in to safely packaging and shipping parts and also the battles that are constantly fought and usually lost within shipping companies.. Extra handling here....extra fee there... They are snakes! I have only had two damage claims so far and the "pit vipers" have already denied one...

BTW... That is a SUPER nice Dash Jonathan... I hope mine turns out half as good buddy! "KEEP TRUCKIN"
