Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
Thanks Kevin! I have been burning your build thread up. That is a awesome truck! I didn't want to cut the bed up for a anti-roll or shock mount but it looks like I am going to have too to get the travel for the shocks. The classes around here are going to no larger than a 29 10.5 no W's and any size drag radial so I know I need to get some of the flex out of the truck a choose the correct tire. I keep telling myself well Kevin did it not thinking of all the lightening/chassis work you have done on your truck. I have no idea What this thing weighs in at now with all that has been changed. Before I just put it in the chassis man's hands I would like to get some input from some guys that have been there and done that! Thanks for all the help

Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
It could be done without hacking the bed floor if you don't go real low. I am using shorter qa1's on my son's truck and will keep a fake wood floor in tact. I saw a 64-66 model with the shocks mounted in front of the axle that didn't stick up too high. You could always just do a cover over the center section like the lowrider guys.

Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
Does anyone have a anti-roll and coil-overs under a stock bed? My truck is lowered and I don't want to cut the bed up. Pics please

Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
This is what I did with my stock width frame rails. I cut out the intermediate crossmember and welded in a tube to house a splined torsion bar (5/8") I had leftover from a customer project. I fabricated the aluminum arms and used end links with spherical rod ends.
Close up of arms... This allowed me to drop the rear very low without having to alter my bed, etc. You can use different thickness torsion bars...just use the corresponding housing tube diameter, etc.

Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
I am doing a coilover with a anti roll bar , depending on how low the truck will determine the bed floor. I am using a 19" Lamb[Koni] shock in front of the rearend housing. My floor will be cut. I will use a Rick Jones anti roll set up, and a wish bone to center the housing. I have longer shocks and will have the upper mounts higher in the truck. If I had to keep the bed floor in I think I could it I think, there is room between the frame and the bottom side of the bed. I have to cut the bed for tubs , and the roll bar connects to the frame in the rear anyway so I dont care about the floor. I dont have pics because I have to wait to get started on the chassis till December or January.

Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
keep me in mind I plan on doing something similar and was looking for some help before I took on the challenge. Thinking now to just let a chassis man handle it.

Re: "Tuff man bars" and anti-roll pics
I was trying to tie the anti-roll and shock mount in together because I don't have much space. I am not even sure that it can be done?

Man these sexy trailing arms are killin me. I don't know if I should buy some or build some. Vin 63's race car anti roll looks like mine from S&W.
