custom guages

im looking to make a custom gauge bezel for my 78 k10 cheyenne, any ideas?

They are Autometer procomp mechanical gauges ,

I bought all the gauges from Jegs, I used the electric speedo and oil gauges, so you gotta buy the sending units for those if you have mechanical. I also ordered the pre-made wiring harness, DO THIS if you plan on doing this yourself, it makes the job WAY easier. I got the alumnium pieces from LMC.

It's pretty easy to do, I did it in 2 days just casually working on it in the shop.

Check the vendor marketplace, I think there's some guys here that sell Auto-meter products, they may can hook you up for a good price.

i looked at the dakota digital before, i liked them....till i saw the price tags but id probably look into the classic dash the only thing im worryed about is the aluminum ones just being plastic coated with aluminum because i would be cutting a hole in for the stereo

Yeah classic dash is just plastic they do a fake alum and carbon fiber on them no clue how long it last tho.Cutting a din size hole isn't that hard just cut inside the lines and double check before you cut and test fit it tell its prefect.

thats sweet looking but i dont really trust stuff like that, it doesnt matter what it is plastic coated in anything has been bad luck with me lol

i looked at those and i thought they were awsome and work awsome with my truck but im on a extreamly low budget and i wouldnt be able to afford a set like that if a saved up for a year lol

Its worth saving or get the billet cover and mount gauges in it will work but its not that much cheaper.

Or make your own cover out of sheet metal cost me about 5 bucks and some time
