softer ride in a C-40-60
I still hav'nt got that special C medium duty truck home yet, but that has'nt stopped me from thinking or planning. I won't be hauling anything near what they were made to haul but I would like to ride in it. I plan on putting on a 8ft fleetside bed. Would I be better off by having some springs made or just taking out some of the leafs that are already there? Has anyone had a set of leafs made ? what does something like that cost? I belive I could have a custom set of leafs made and it would ride reasonably well. I have a really bad back and I cannot stand to be beat up by this truck . If taking out some leafs would work how many would it take and do you think it would lower it beyond reason? I've got other irons in the fire so to speak, but I'm not getting much done on my other projects for thinking of this one

Air-ride seat
I'd consider air bag suspension. You can remove leafs. Just leave enough to handle the heavy truck and get shocks valved for lighter weight.
