Repainting is the easy part, getting the factory color not so easy. I have green factory interior and getting the color right for things like the vents, steering column, console, etc is no easy task.

Thanks for the painting advice but my question was do the chrome pieces come out so you don't have to try mask them when the body color part?

On the back are three clips that hold the duct hose insert. That holds the vent ball in place.
