Re: 402 swap questions
Yes you can use the same torque converter and flywheel, you will need all the corresponding BB pulleys, alternator and power steering brackets with pump/hoses, engine towers, fan shroud etc.

Re: 402 swap questions
You'll need BB mounts and lots of other goodies. Check out the parts for sale section.
Welcome to the forum! Here's a pic of my 402 for inspiration..

Re: 402 swap questions
You'll need a BB power steering pump with remote resevoir and the pressure and return lines, also a 4 row radiator and shroud. Probably a 7 blade fan and spacer. If your serious start making a list and saving your $$. Check the parts forum for prices, with the parts we've already listed you're already looking at $500+

Re: 402 swap questions
Oh yea, if your running AC, brackets are another $200.
It takes commitment to go big...but there is nothing like the roar of a big block under the hood! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 402 swap questions
You don't need those high-dollar AC pump brackets. I used a Sanden pump on mine and I went with the brackets that came with the retrofit kit. A lot cheaper.
