1957 1 ton Crewcab on Ebay
They dont get much Cooler than this!! kinda funky looking with the cut down bed but thats the way they did it back then. To think this truck had to be shipped to 2 different conversion companys before making it to the buyer.

Re: 1957 1 ton Crewcab on Ebay
Man that's a nice truck. I had a '57 Napco 1 ton with an Oakland Utility body on it. I was told that it was an ex PG&E truck. Man I miss that one! Wouldn't even want to take a stab at what kinda money that will sell for.

Oh boy,now you did it. I can add another one I wish I could buy. If I had real money I'd contact that seller and make an offer he couldn't refuse. Screw playing a bidding game. I'd have to buy that thing! That thing is nuckin'fice!
Did you find traces of the brown & tan paint job? Man,I remember living out in Humboldt County and seeing so many old brown & tan 4wds. I came to realize they were all ex'PG&E

Re: 1957 1 ton Crewcab on Ebay
Talk about custom built. That thing got the Napco Conversion, then a trip to the coach works. It has power steering and brakes, too. Goes to show what could be built when cost was no object...such as when being built for the gov't.

Very cool unique truck. To me the bed does not look cut shorter, just different fender placement.
