Electric locks
I have seen several postings about electric door locks for our trucks. I was wondering if
someone who has done this could tell me what the kit costs with the keyless entry? I am wondering if there are any other hidden costs, and how well do you like the system?? It is such a pain to unlock the passenger door everytime someone gets out, and lets face it... I am lazy!! Any help would be great! Here is the link!! http://www.a1electric.com/alarm1.htm

SPAL sells a kit that's $150 for power locks and keyless... they say it's easy, but I haven't done it or ordered it yet. I can't imagine it'd be too difficult, It's just a few wires through to the other side of the firewall, a bracket and solenoid which pops the existing locking mechanism, and some switches for the interior. you can probably find an ad in Truckin or Sport Truck type mags... they also sell power window kits, alarms, door poppers...
