72 GMC bench to bucket swap
Howdy! A buddy of mine just purchased a 1980 Chevy shortbox with a set of buckets from a Honda CRX. He has 2 young kids and the buckets have to go for a bench. They are in great shape with new skins that go with my 1972 GMC p/u interior. He is giving them to me, my seat is hooped and I don't care to have more than 1 person in my cab with me anyway. How similar are the mounting locations from 72 to 80? Am I gonna get lucky here with the brackets that he has made, or am I looking at some mods? Thanks, Glen.

Re: 72 GMC bench to bucket swap
Thanks, I found a thread that went over it and offered up a template. I will have to start from scratch and make my own I guess.
