If only I could weld...

I think I would be dangerous with a cutter and welder.
So many ideas

No I was just playing around with photo deluxe.
The wheelbase is unchanged. I just changed the middle and retouched. Here is the original:

Shoot... I forgot to add the tow hooks I took off of Jerry's green truck

Here's a 4 door extended cab. Same wheel base. A little rough, but you get the picture.

If it wasn't for hillbillies with welders we would still be riding around in horse pulled wagons!!

hey you forgot the cheesy plastic Avalanche trim...

I wonder how these trucks would look half-tracked with a .50 cal up top... (sorry, found my old GI Joes today...)

I agree. we will need to confiscate any welding supplies you purchase for the sake of trucks everywhere. it'd be like Operation Chevy Freedom!

Your picture reminds me of a Concept in classic truckin of a 72 Suburban with the roof and top cut off behind the 3rd door... Now that would look like a classic avalanche. Oh bye the way Chevrolet would be the only car company that could name a truck after a complete disaster and get away with it !

ineedaproject...where is the pic....
Before I bought my 71 K10, I had an '85, 4x4 3/4 ton suburban deisel that I tried to sell or trade for a truck because I needed something with a bed. I was getting real close to having someone cut the top off behind the 2nd seat like an avalanche and have the sides painted with either "Full metal avalanche or "mother of...). Luckily someone bought it before it got cut up. I still wish I could have done it. I think it would have turned out good. Here's the suburban I would have cut up.

Jerry, don't tease me like that. I might come down there after i get my truck running with blue prints.
