50's Style Paint Trike For My Daughters 2nd B-Day
Here are some before and after pics of the trike I did for my daughters second birthday. I found it on the curb with a free sign on it. Its got to be from the 70's up because it has a plastic seat. It is now painted bubblegum pink and white. I used clear with rainbow flake in it and it seems to give the paint a candy/pearl look.

Here are some more including the happy birthday girl. I added pink and purple streamers and a pink and purple basket, as well as a license plate with her name on it. I also got the lettering paint and brush out and redid the whitewalls. I was running out of time otherwise I would have striped the forks.

Re: 50's Style Paint Trike For My Daughters 2nd B-Day
Thanks guys. The wife told me I had to do something for her because I restored a John Deere model 520 pedal tractor for my sons 3rd birthday. Now I'm going to be doing a go cart for his 5th. Just picked up a rolling frame a couple of months ago.

If she's rolling that kewl at 2 she'll need a really cool ride at 16.Sounds like the son will too.

My son already said he wants an old truck like daddy but with a big block.
