i would assume that the sensor section runs all the way accross to the other side, so maybe they had articular steering...?

I did think about an articulating rear axle. it does appear that the tire is forward and turned or is it just the shadows playing a trick. I think that an articulating axle in those years would have been a good trick

Looking at the photo again the rear tire resides real close to lower fender lip at the front, which makes me feel that it does have artcular steering.

That truck definitely has 4 wheel steering. Probably to get into tight areas better.

I dont think its a shadow it really looks like it has rear steer I dont know why it would but its cool.

just found more pictures on this truck and says it does have 4 wheel steering
would be interesting to see what they did
