Hei........???!!???

Well i had her back firing, and now there not even a spark, there is power running into her ,but no spark. what can it be?

the dizzy is in 180 degrees out, pull it out spin the rotor 180 and pop it back in

Well let me tell you about todays HEi adventure.........When i had her back firing i thought it was 180 off so i got the thing to TDC and then i fliped her around. I puled out the plug and got a friend to crank it. No spark.......I had the edge of it on the head so it could have a negative. I stuck the tester in the wire plug and cranked it and nothing agian. ????

If you can find one, get the plastic top that pops over the plugs to tell you which wire goes to each cylinder. Sometimes, you will encounter the problem your having just by having two wires switched out of order. Recheck the wires and top dead center on the dizzy and try again.

ok is the harmonic balancer suppose to point to "0" on that little dial thing thats mounted to the motor or straight up? just so i can clear this thought out of my head.

If your balancer and tmming tab are correct the 0 should line up. Also take out your #1 plug and hold you finger over the sparkplug hole when there is pressure comming out and the tab and balancer line up you should be at TDC for #1.

just foud out why it wasn't firing.....toasted coil. i replaced it and wala.......still need to work the timing situation out. My batterys dead so i got to wait for the starter help thing to recharge

Make sure the wiring on the cap is right.

On a stock point cap the #1 is not in the same spot as the HEI, and I've seen several people try to do it.

#1 can be anywhere on the cap as long as the #1 wire goes to it when the #1 cylinder is at tdc.
