50 chevy
I am new to the site in the past year, getting all kinds of ideas for my truck. well here it is 1950 chevy i purchased in MI on ebay. ebay add said ready for paint and interior, ha.. truck came with a chyrsler 318 in it??? well heres a few pics of starting the work. at this point chassis is at blasters and mustang II should be here in a week or two. also purchased a LS1 with tranny, driveshaft, engine and body wiring, pedals fuse box's steering column, and some more extras. 70k on the engine out of a 00 firebird.

Re: 50 chevy
looking great so far. You got a good jump start. Can't wait to see the progress. Looks like a nice area to work in and even a fork lift, lucky you.

Re: 50 chevy
got a little done in the past few months. mustang II front end installed and already dismantled for paint. the hardest part was getting the power rack to line up and grind down to match. purchased a flaming river u-joint for the tight squeeze. Also found some tires and rims on ebay close to me picked up for $350. got the majority of my boxing done, havent done the rear not sure on the suspension yet. Also got the x-member from progressive tacked into place, not sure if its going to move back 3 inches or not deciding on firewall.
