My truck is showing a bit low on the trans dipstick. Where is the proper spot to add fluid? I am used to working on motorcycles, so help a noob out?

did you check it running while in park? otherwise you may add too much

Yes I did. I put 3 quarts in it and it now shifts and drives perfectly after sitting for over 7 years. Thanks for the info.

better keep an eye on that level you may have a worn seal or a leaky pan gasket after sitting so long
