Front parklight GMC
Can you purchase after market front parklight assemblies for 67-71 GMC pickups?
We are restoring a 1969 GMC and need to replace the amber lenses and it looks like they are a complete assembly. Anyone? Thanks, Willie

Re: Front parklight GMC
Hello Willie,
I purchased some of the GMC amber lenses from a California vendor and the lenses came with rivets that are real easy to use. I drilled the old rivets and removed the old lenses. Next I cleaned the backshell up and repainted it with Chrome Silver. After I was satisfied with the back shell I attached the new lenses and did up the rivets. They cam out really nice. The last step was removing the attaching L-Brackets then bending them back into position, painting and reattaching them as well. I enjoyed this process and recommend it to anyone restoring their Truck. I have seen the whole assembly sold as one unit as well. Good Luck and enjoy. R/
